  • We will be at Mahoney State Park 4pm to 10pm at the Burr Oak Shelter come rain or shine!
  • Join us for a grill out, a chance to connect to other parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, professionals who support our families & enjoy a mini sign lesson
  • Kids enjoy free activities & art

Please join us at the next meeting in Omaha, NE for the Nebraska Hands & Voices Playgroup.   The entire family is welcome.  We usually have a few snacks,  a facilitated discussion on topic and free networking time to connect to other parents who travel the journey of being a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.   On August 7th we will be trading wisdom, stories and resources around the importance of literacy for your child.  Child care is provided.  Please RSVP to Laryssa Payne at laryssa@handsandvoicesne.org   We look forward to hearing your unique story.

We had a great time at the game on Friday, Thank you to our President, Kris Flott, for a great on field interview and to Todd Luther, Treasurer,  for the later interview.   Jasper Payne threw out the first pitch for our organization – great job Jasper!.  A big thanks to the Royals for highlighting us as community organization of the night.  Great to see so many people able to come and have fun together and be a part of our Hands & Voices family!   We look forward to seeing  everyone at the big picnic at Mahoney Park on August 28th!

We will be throwing out the first pitch – Goooo Jasper!   We will be giving a pre-game on-field interview and will take part in an on-air interview with KOIL AM 1180, in the top of the 3rd inning.  And to top off the evening, there will be fireworks following the game!  This is a great way to get our name out in the community, enjoy a fun family night out at the ball park and socialize with other H&V members. Please RSVP to Kris at kris@handsandvoicesne.org or 203-0673 to order your tickets. We have tickets available at $7.00 each.
