Every month NE Hands and Voices highlights a member of our Board
This month we are featuring Gennevieve Weiss:
Location: I just recently moved to Omaha after 25 years in the small town of Aurora, NE
Occupation: I am an itinerant teach of the deaf/hard of hearing with the Suburban Public Schools program out of Ralston. This tear, I will serve students in seven districts in the Metro and surround areas.
Role on the Board: Professional
Why I am involved: I saw how powerful it was for my students an their families to connect with other families who were facing similar challenges (and celebrations). I love seeing families offer information and support to each other, and I love seeing the kids together at our family events!
