2022 EHDI Parent Scholarship to attend the EHDI Annual Meeting

Please help the Nebraska Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (NE-EHDI) Program invite parents to apply for the scholarship to attend the EHDI Annual Meeting March 13-15, 2022 in Cincinnati, OH

The NE-EHDI Program greatly appreciates parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing to assist with our program planning so we are always focused on being “family centered” to best meet the needs of children, parents, and families. We encourage parents of a child (no age limit) who is deaf or hard of hearing to apply for the scholarship. (Parents can still apply if they have attended past EHDI Annual Meetings, however priority will be given to parents who have not attended before.)

Please note that there are two attendance options this year:

  • In Person: NE-EHDI will reimburse the scholarship recipient for registration fees and travel costs per the guidelines detailed in the application

  • Virtual: NE-EHDI will reimburse the scholarship recipient for registration fees and offer an additional $200 stipend per the guidelines detailed in the application

The application needs to be e-mailed to Amanda Adams (amanda.adams@nebraska.gov) no later than February 7, 2022.

The selected scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of the day on February 14, 2022. More details about the scholarship are included in the application.

Please share this information with others who may know a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing that might be interested. The parents who have attended in the past have shared with us how much they truly enjoy the opportunity and experience. This conference will be a little different since it is both in person and virtual, however the planning committee is working hard to provide an excellent experience for all attendees.
