Every month NE Hands and Voices highlights a member of our Board
This month we are featuring Kate Hentzen:
Location: I live in West Omaha with my husband and two sons, Luke (8) and Milo (5). My 5 year old was born profoundly deaf and has bilateral cochlear implants. I work full time as a clinical pharmacist for the VA clinics in Omaha.
Role on the Board: I am the Secretary for the H&V board as well a parent member.
Why I am involved: My why for being involved is wanting to give back to Hands & Voices for the support and information I've gained from the organization and being on the board was something I felt I would be able to do well.
