Introduction: My name is Alejandra and I am from Lincoln. I currently work at WIC as a breastfeeding peer counselor. My son Santi wears bi-lateral cochlear implants.

Role with Hands & Voices: I am a Parent Guide

Why I am involved: The reason for wanting to be involved with the GBYS program is that being a parent in general is hard. When you don’t have someone that can relate asking for advice might not be the same. I want parents to know that they do have people to go to if they don’t know something or need someone to listen.
