About this Resource
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Barkley Speech Language and Hearing Clinic provides services for individuals with speech, language, hearing and balance impairments. Clinic providers serve all ages and address a broad range of disorders. Services are provided by licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathology and audiology faculty members and graduate student clinicians in our speech-language pathology and audiology training programs. This clinic also offers teleaudiology services for families who live in the central and western part of the state another option for audiological testing at various ESUs in that area. Sara Peterson is a Deaf Educator who works with families who would like to have a teleaudiology visit with the pediatric audiologist at the Barkley center. Sarah is great with babies and parents. The program targets birth-to-three-year-olds who are referred through the newborn hearing screening process.
