Congratulations to Alyssa Brooks, our January 2026 Rising Star! 

Alyssa was nominated by Nicole Miller & Heather Witte who had the following to say:

"Alyssa is a familiar face at all the Nebraska Regional Program DHH activities. She always has a smile on her face and supports and encourages the younger students who attend. She loves to share her love of ASL by teaching sign language both at school and in the community. Alyssa is a junior at Adam’s Central High School, where she is active in FFA and participates in a bowling league. In her free time, she assists her mom at their bakery and loves being an aunt! Alyssa is a wonderful example to other DHH students, and to the greater community. By being an amazing student, daughter, friend, and role model, she truly is a Rising Star!”
