Jean Thienel

Congratulations to Jean, our September 2024 Rising Star!

Jean was nominated by Sara Peterson who had the following to say:

"Jean has been active with Nebraska Regional Programs for many, many years. I can always count on Jean to be a leader, a great friend, and a support for fellow students. This year at Camp Anderson Jean had a chance to lead a crochet club for other students and camp counselors. They did such a great job and it was fun to see all the students and staff working on their projects all week. Anytime another camper in Jean's cabin was having a rough time they would always step in and support and encourage the campers. Anytime I needed help finding someone or delivering materials Jean was always volunteering to help in whatever was needed. Jean is such a great leader and Rising Star in Nebraska!"
