"I am writing to nominate Jenna Woitalewicz for the Rising Star Award. Jenna competed with The Nebraska Regional Programs on the Nebraska South Battle of the Books team through Gallaudet University Youth Programs. She was a strong player with ample knowledge about the content of each book. She was always supportive of her teammates and lead by example throughout all practices and matches. Jenna also attended the Cosmosphere Space Camp with the Nebraska Regional Programs in October. She put forth great effort at each stage of the process in the Future Astronaut Training and her team was a success because of it. Jenna is a joy to be around and has a great sense of humor. I really enjoy Jenna at all Nebraska Regional Program activities and feel that she is deserving of the honor of Rising Star."
