Jhett Moody

Congratulations to Jhett Moody, our November Rising Star!

Jhett was nominated by Carre Klein, who had the following to say: 

“I am excited to recommend Jhett Moody, a first-grade student. Jhett has made wonderful progress this year and comes to school each day ready and excited to learn. Jhett has also grown in his self-advocacy skills. He is beginning to speak up for himself by telling adults that he prefers the classroom speaker system because it helps him hear the teacher more clearly. He also enjoys participating in Nebraska Regional Program activities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, where he is excited to learn new things and connect with other students who have hearing differences like his. Jhett is a hardworking student who always puts forth his best effort. One of his biggest accomplishments this last year has been learning to read independently, a huge milestone for a kindergarten student that shows his dedication to learning. He is great to work with. He brings a positive attitude, a kind heart, and a big smile to the classroom each day. He is a wonderful part of his class community and someone his teachers truly enjoy working with. Jhett truly demonstrates the qualities of a Rising Star! I am very excited to see all the continued growth and success ahead of him.”
