August 2026

Congratulations to Juliet, our August 2026 Rising Star!

Juliet was nominated by Mary Harris and Tammy Wolfe who had the following to say:

From Mary Harris: "Juliet is truly a standout student and a role model in every sense. She is kind, compassionate, and well-respected by her peers. She consistently seeks out academic challenges and meets them with determination and curiosity. Her love of learning and drive to succeed are evident in everything she does. She is also active in many extracurricular activities including school clubs, gymnastics, and theatre productions. Recently, she participated in a research study focused on children with unilateral hearing loss. I was so proud to hear about her involvement from her parents and can only imagine the impact her contribution could have. I have no doubt that she will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of others."

From Tammy Wolfe: "I have had the honor of teaching Juliet during her fourth-grade year at Reeder Elementary. Juliet consistently performs well above grade level in all areas of the curriculum. She participates in the High Ability Learner program in every category offered through Millard Public Schools, including reading, math, and visual-spatial learning, and continually scores in the 98th and 99th percentiles nationally on our reading and math assessments (NWEA MAP). Juliet is an active and positive contributor to classroom discussions and serves as an exceptional role model for her peers. She is involved in numerous extracurricular activities both in and out of school, including R2, orchestra, Book Club, Aspiring Educators Club, and Student Council. I have also had the opportunity to attend several of her performances and activities outside of school, including performances with SNJ Studios of Music, as well as piano and gymnastics events. In every setting, Juliet truly exemplifies what it means to be a “Rising Star". Whether during the school day, in extracurricular activities at Reeder, or in her community involvement outside of school, she demonstrates leadership, dedication, kindness, and excellence. She is an outstanding candidate for this award and, in my opinion, is highly deserving of this recognition."
