Matteo Pastor Ramirez

Congratulations to Matteo Pastor Ramirez, our February 2026 Rising Star! Matteo was nominated by Carre Klein:

I would like to nominate Matteo Pastor Ramirez, a 3rd grader at Bel-Air Elementary School at Norfolk Public Schools as a rising star to celebrate some wonderful progress he has been making. He has recently started putting in his own hearing aid and is becoming more aware of the sounds around him, which is a big step toward independence. We are so proud of the effort and confidence he shows each day. He also has a great sense of humor and brings lots of smiles to the classroom. He is truly a joy to have at school and a great kid who continues to grow and shine.
