Nathan Hoss

Congratulations to Nathan Hoss, the December 2018 Rising Star!

Nathan was nominated by Sue Van Housen, who submitted the following:

"When this nomination event came to my attention, ONE young man popped into my mind immediately! That one man is Nathan Hoss. I had the privilege of working with him when he was between five and six years old. It didn’t take long to realize how incredibly bright Nathan is. Given any language/vocabulary concept I presented, and if he didn’t understand or know the meaning, he would quickly “get it” and “retain it.” He willingly admitted when he didn’t understand something and eagerly sought information to know more. Nathan is a remarkable boy whose deafness does not stop him, nor his family, from achieving beyond expectation. He is ONE amazing kid with one of the most supporting families I have ever met in thirty or more years of special education. They are all deserving of this nomination. Nathan also did an amazing job on the Panel at Moms Night Inn. We appreciate your taking the time to share your experiences with others. Keep up the great work! What you do does make a difference!"
