Ryan was nominated by Liz Sweeden, who had the following to say:

"Ryan is a kind and inclusive student and finds joy in his learning environment and in others! He is fun to be around and kind to adults and classmates. Ryan is inclusive of other students at school and comes to school excited about learning. Ryan takes on challenges with his academic work and always puts forth his best effort, even when that task may be difficult. We are so lucky to have Ryan at our school!"
