Jenessa Cruz-Alfaro

My husband and I have two children. Our daughter lost her hearing right before kindergarten due to Congenital Cytomegalovirus (cCMV). She now has a Cochlear Implant on her left side. She used to wear a BICROS hearing aid. She also has vestibular issues related to cCMV. Our daughter participates in many extracurricular activities and is very outgoing. We have been fortunate to have Nebraska Hands & Voices and the Guide By Your Side program available to support our family, and I look forward to assisting other families on their journeys.
