Kelsey Maas

Hi, I’m Kelsey Maas! I grew up in central Nebraska and now live in rural Blair, where I work as a recruiter at our local hospital. My husband and I have a wonderful 6-year-old daughter, Kate, who was born with right-side Microtia and Atresia, resulting in unilateral hearing loss. She sometimes wears a bone-conducting hearing aid on a soft band.

Kate’s difference was an unexpected surprise at birth, and our journey since then has been full of learning and growth. I’m passionate about continuing to learn and helping new parents navigate and embrace hearing differences. Being a parent guide has been incredibly rewarding, and I love connecting with fellow families on this journey.
