Jennifer Zysset is the Executive Assistant for Nebraska Hands and Voices, and a Parent Guide with Guide by Your Side. Jennifer has four kids, two of whom are Hard of Hearing and wear hearing aids. Both were a surprise to her and her husband, as they have no history of hearing differences in either of their families. Jennifer’s oldest was diagnosed at age 3.5 despite referring on her newborn screening, and her youngest referred on his newborn screening and was diagnosed by 3 weeks of age.
